Christy is a Community Health Educator focused primarily on youth health. She holds a Masters of Public Health in program planning and implementation; Her masters thesis focused on a program plan to reduce youth mortality in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She was determined to focus her thesis efforts on finding a solution to a country’s mortality related to a preventable or treatable disease. Currently her efforts have been submitted for grant analysis in hopes of being implemented as a component of a USAID or independent NGO project.
Christy has an intense love for helping people and is dedicated to providing health education to vulnerable populations, especially to youth. She loves hiking, trying new foods, is a major Boston Terrier lover, and according to her husband talks a lot. Christy can regularly be found drinking coffee and laughing at just about anything remotely humorous.
